Prussian Silver Garde Infantry or Pioneer Enlisted Pickelhaube

Model 1895 for Enlisted Man. Black Leather helmet body in excellent condition. Lacquer is near perfect with minor crazing. Helmet is left as found. Firm stitching to both visors. Silver trim with beautiful large winged Garde Eagle. In its center the silver star of the Black Eagle Order. Plate is fixed to helmet with the original leather wedges. We did not touch them either. Plate fits helmet perfecly. No extra holes.

Round spike base maintained by four split brads (one replaced). Silver spike that untwists as it should to adapt a Parade Trichter/Plume. Back spine with proper ventilation slide. Both Cockade (Reichs and Prussian) are present along with a replacement leather strap. Inside linining is MINT - unworn. Liner is the black dyed type of pre-war manufacture. Back Visor stamped with the Arsenal markings "K.B.A.G. 1914".  A very nice exemple in near mint condition.
