Prussian Guard Infantry and Grenadier Regiments Officer to Parade (white Yak hair plume) -Model 1897. Black leather helmet body with fire gilt metal trim. The leather helmet body in perfect condition with firm stitching. The exterior lacquer in excellent condition with a bright finish and no lacquer loss. The helmet body has NO extra holes. The helmet interior has standard sweat leather and silk headliner in good condition but shows use and wear.

Inner visors colored red and green as is proper for an officer helmet. Round spike base with star retainers. The tall gilt plume trichter is removable. The excellent conditioned plume is white Yak hair. The frontplate in the Prussian Guard Eagle in fire gilt with the silver and enameled Guard star in the center. Flat gilt chinscales on rosettes. Original Reichs and Prussian Officer cockades. Absolutely 100% original helmet from an old collection. Excellent overall condition.
