Bavarian Leib Infantry NCO Model 1897 Pickelhaube. Beautiful and absolutely virgin and untouched. Black lacquered leather helmet body with silver trim. Helmet body has excellent form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer still has its polished sheen in immaculate condition. Interior has the officer sweat leather and brown colored silk headliner in absolute MINT condition. Round front visor lined in green, back visor lined red. No extra holes in helmet body.

Frosted finish has definitely never been cleaned or polished. Silver round spike base maintained by 4 round brads and removable smooth spike. Frontplate is the Bavarian Silver Frosted Wappen surrounded by two Lions with the "In treue fest" banner. Rare flat silver M91 type chinscales over silver posts (slightly loose from wearing). NCO Reichs and EM type Bavarian cockades. Pristine Helmet, exceptional to find in today's market place.
