Saxon 100th Leib Infantry Officers Pickelhaube to parade

Royal Saxon 100th Leib Grenadier Regiment (1st Saxon - Hdq: Dresden) Officer to Parade Model 1896. Black lacquered fiber helmet body with frosted silver metal trim. Helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is flawless in near mint condition. Interior of helmet has sweat leather and silk headliner that is complete in excellent + condition.
No extra holes in helmet body. Front plate is the Saxon fire silver star and gold center device. Silver stars at base of helmet. Tall silver plume trichter with a black Yak Haarbusch. Beautiful flat silver chinscales and rosettes. Special non-seratted Saxon and Reichs cockades. This helmet is 100% original and untouched. Great WWI era Saxon Officers helmet from the rare Life Guard Regiment.
