Outstanding and RARE helmet - Near Mint

Prussian Jaeger zu Pferde Regiments 1-4 and 7 - Reserve Officer /One year volunteer circa 1910. Beautiful helmet recently acquired in Europe. Stamped steel unique Jaeger zu Pferde body style with all silver metal except chinscales (see photos) and unique JzP single step front visor with its original green "basane" leather lining. Helmet has perfect form with no damage or rusting to helmet body, besides a few spots on the lobster tail and front visor that have all been well pictured. No extra holes in helmet body.

Interior liner is the upscale "Extra version with silk band inerlaced” officer's type with soft sweat leather and silk headliner (bit dirty) that is a perfect fit. Rear visor covered with beige silk velvet and front visor with green leather (see photos). The all silver spike and base are the equal lateral Kurassier style crossed base with tall fluted spike. The helmets frontplate is the silver frosted Prussian Dragoon Eagle with gold reserve cross. Beautiful set of rounded gold chinscales on clover leaf rosettes. Large "Cuirassier type" Officer style Reichs and Prussian cockades. Outstanding and RARE helmet that is seldom found in today’s marketplace.
