Beautiful all matching fire gilting Pickelhaube, 100% left untouched.
Prussian Line Dragoon Regiments 7, 8,11, 13 and 14 - Reserve Officer - Model 1897. Fine leather helmet body with squared front visor and gold metal trim. Black lacquered leather helmet body with fine exterior lacquer and firm stitching. No extra holes in helmet body. Helmet plate is fixed to helmet with spilt brads that have never been opened. The frontplate is the fire gilt Line Prussian Dragoon Eagle without banner and a silver Reserve Cross on the eagle's chest.
The helmet has a gold crossed spike base with officer pearl/diamond ornamentation at base of spike. Smooth removable spike. Large gold stars retain cross base to helmet. Original convex rounded gold chinscales and officer rosettes. Original officers Reich and Prussian officer cockades. The interior of the helmet appears to have never been worn with mint calf skin liner and untouched ribbed silk. Hard to upgrade this pickelhaube.
