Prussian 14th Uhlan Officers Tschapka - Mint

Beautiful Tschapka in Mint condition!

Hannoverian 14th Uhlan Regiment -(2nd Hannover with Headquarters in St. Avold and Morchingen) - Officers Tschapka circa 1910. Black lacquered leather body and mortar board with silver metal trim and proper hook for parade cords. The helmet has perfect form and firm stitching. This helmet has the proper turned down front visor. Visor stitching also in perfect condition. The exterior lacquer is in near mint condition and still has near mint sheen. There are no extra holes in the helmet body.

The helmet interior has sweat leather and gear mint condition with beige silk headliner. The front plate is the highly frosted silver Prussian Line encircled by the banners “Peninsula - Waterloo - Garza Hernandez” to commemorate this regiments service during the Napoleonic Wars in the British Kings German Legion. Original rounded gold chinscales with silver rosettes. Officer Reichs officer cockade. The helmet does have a Prussian Officer field badge with silver bullion edging and black center. The helmet is presented in the “Service" (Dienst) Form without rabatte or cords. Outstanding and EXTREMELY RARE regimental helmet from an elite regiment. MINT CONDITION.
