Bavarian Jäger "Eigentums" Shako
Great restauration project
Bavarian Line Jaeger 1st and 2nd Battalions circa 1900. Out of the Parker collection. Custom officer quality leather shako with brass trim. The helmet body is in excellent shape with fine form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer has general crazing due to age and storage. Large size. The helmet interior has officer style sweat leather and silk headliner.
No extra holes in the helmet body. The frontplate is Line Bavarian that is secured to helmet body with screws. Flat brass chinscales over M92 side lugs. Single NCO style Reichs cockade. Missing field badge. The helmet has never been cleaned or polished. The helmet shows age but can be cleaned up. Great restauration project.
