Baden Field Artillery Officers Pickelhaube - MINT
A wonderful helmet impossible to upgrade
Black lacquered leather helmet body in absolute Perfect/Mint condition. Both visors lined red and green with firm stitching. All trim in matching frosted gold. The front plate is the Baden Griffin with "Mit Gott F. Fuerst U. Vaterland" bandeau. Frontplate secured to helmet with two screws and nuts. No extra holes.
The Balltop also in gold scews off. The base, retained to helmet body with 4 stars attached with hexagonal nuts that tends to indicate mid to late war manufacturing. Beautiful frosted perlring. gold frosted convex chinscales atteched with rosettes over the officers Reichs and Baden Cockades.
Inside lining in calfskin and brown solk also in mint/untouvched condition. A wonderful helmet impossible to upgrade. RARE in this condition.
