Prussian Field Artillery Enlisted Pickelhaube

Prussian Field Artillery Enlisted Man for Line Regiments Model 1891. MINT CONDITION. Beautiful black lacquered helmet body with gold/brass trim. Helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching to back visor. Front visor slightly loose. Exterior lacquer has bright finish and is in mint condition. Frontplate is the Prussian Line Regiments eagle, held by the two original leather wedges. No xtra holes. The eagle fits the helmet shell like a glove.

Enlisted style artillery ball top. Round base with split brad retainers. Balltop does not unscrew. Field Artillery type back spine with no ventilation slide/hole. Interior thin black leather lining with 9 flaps in mint unworn condition. Rounded M1891 style chinscales on posts over a set of enlisted Reich and Prussian cockades. Over all a fantastic helmet that will be hard to upgrade.
