Prussian Reserve Line Kürassier Offcier's Pickelhaube

100% original and untouched.

Prussian Reserve Line Kurassier Officer helmet Model 1897. Nickeled steel helmet body with gilded brass trim. Beautiful helmet body that has perfect form and bright nickeled finish. No dents near mint body condition. The frontplate is the Prussian Kürassier Reserve plate with a 100% gilt frosting remaining...and a perfect fit to the helmet body. Silver reserve cross on the tail. Plate is fixed to helmet with two screws. Helmet has two extra holes underneath, nothing unusual for a Reserve Officer that had a plate change when re-affected to the Reserve unit.

The helmet interior is complete with not damage but dirty silk from heavy wear. Brown sweat leather with beige silk headliner. The interior of the back visor covered with black silk velvet. The front visor lined with green colored basane leather (note the the green leather lining has a small tear on one side easy to fix if one whishes). The spike and base are kurassier style gold/tombac base and nickeled fluted spike top. The heavy rounded chinscales and cloverleaf rosettes are fire gilt. Large Officer Reich and Prussia cockades. Beautiful and and RARE officers helmet. 100% original and untouched.
