Baden Infantry Officer Pickelhaube

Baden Infantry Officer Model 1897. All officer quality construction. Black lacquered leather helmet body with brass gilded trim. The helmet body has nice form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is dulled with age but is complete with some minor crazing. No extra holes in the helmet body. The interior has officer quality soft leather headliner and tan silk headliner. Interior visors are lined with Green and Red for Officers.

The fire gilded trim is officer quality and matches 100%. The spike base has the officer pearl ring and removable spike. The base is held to helmet body with brass/gilt stars retainers that are screwed. The frontplate is the gilded Baden Griffin that has screw back retainers. Flat gilt chinscales on rosettes. Officer style 2 piece Reichs cockade and furled non-serrated Baden cockade. The helmet is uncleaned and never polished it retains its original fire gilding. Untouched helmet that is all original.
