Württemberg Eisenbahn or Kraftfahr Enlisted Pickelhaube - RARE

Württemberg 4th Eisenbahn Battalion 4th Company and Kraftfahr Battalion 3rd Company, private purchase NCO M1895 after October 01.1913. Recently obtained from a prestigious European collection. Black lacquered leather helmet body with bright German Silver metal trim. Exterior lacquer finish in near MINT condition. Helmet body has perfect form with firm stitching.

No extra holes in the helmet body The front plate is the classic Wurttemberg frontplate, in its center the Order of the Royal Wurttemberg Crown in silver. Note that the plate is so tide to the helmet shell that is is impossible to remove. It fits it perfectly. We took pictures of the back to show the tiny holes.

Round Spike base has NCO pearl ring and is maintained by 4 round brads. The spike top is removable. Inside liner is a black dyed old style flat tabbed officers leather liner. Plain unvented back spine. A set of convex chinscales maintained by NCO style rosettes over the Reich and State Cockades. The helmet is in near MINT condition.
