Prussian 13th Uhlan "Einjahriger" or private purchase Tschapka

https://www.ageofkingsmilitaria.com/unique-13th-ulan-named-gefreiter-ensemble

Black lacquered leather tschapka body in excellent condition. Some crazing and chips as usual on the mortar board (see pictures). Front visor is the correct officers type for Tschapkas, but is loose and need restitching if desired. The helmet plate is the large winged silver Prussian Garde Eagle attributed to this Regiment on January 24th, 1899 in honor of the Hanovarian Gardes du Corps Regiment's participation in the Napoleonic campains. The following bandeaux with the battle names of "Peninsula" - "Waterloo" - "Garcia-Hernandez" were therefor addded to the Eagle.

This Regiment was one of Koenig Wilhelm II prefred Regiment. Hence later called "Koenigs Uhlanen Regiment". The Plate is firmly mounted to the tschapka with two screws/nuts and left deep marks in the helmet body. Another set of holes can be seen underneath the plate (see multilple pictures), this holes most likely for the prior 1899 silver line eagle plate. There is no doubt that this tschapka is 100% genuine Kings Uhlan!

Convex gilt chinscales mounted with gold rosettes and NCO Reichs cockade. Original Officers type Prussian Bullion Feldzeichen. The inside of the helmet shell has a full officers Calf skin and silk leather lining in excellent condition, just a bit dirty. A Rare Tschapka to find. Would go well with the Uniform ensemble to complete a mannequin.
