French Carabinier Officer Helmet - used by Fireman...
100% Officers Outfit
Brass helmet shell "a la minerve" with only minor dents. Silver Frosted Officers Grade Bandeau with fine detail. In the center the Flaming Grenade surrounded by palm leaves with fire gilt finish and extremely crisp. Bandeau and Grenade present the same assembly number "8" behind, meaning this whole helmet was assembled as such.
Tall Fire gilt Cimier mounted with a Marmouset all in officers quality. Black horsehair brush on marmouset (Dragon color). Cimier and marmouset with some minor flaws/dents as usual (see pictures) but in general quite well preserved with approx 90% original fire gilting. Mounting screws have been changed with the enlisted type "goutte d'eau" type. There are no extra holes that would attest that another cimier once was mounted on this helmet. We assume this helmet was assembled with original Carabinier Officers Parts for a Firemans Officer.
No liner or chinscales.
