Prussian Model 1915 Kürassier Enlisted Helmet

Nice large size "60 1/2" Polished Steel helmet shell with field grey trim. Overall trim is a blend of age patina and remains of trim. A couple of minor dents as usual (see pics) but in general shell would rate excellent to near mint condition if one desires to upgrade its looks. "Football" shaped spike base with proper Model 1915 Bayonet type spike top unique to Kürassiers 4 grey screw brads to fix it to shell,. Front and back visor in near mint condition with the unique "Lobster Tail" and black finish underneath. Front visor with the green original finish as well underneath.

Inside markings of "C.E.Juncker" and dated "1916". Back visor marked to size "60 1/2". The front plate is the Rare Prussian Kürassier Eagle with the legs touching the base of the wings...and original back steel loops. We believe th eleather wedges to be original to the helmet and have NOT removed them. The plate has the special "Silver finish" as seen on some helmets and is definitely for the WW1 era. Nice original un-dyed liner that is still supple. Original set of Enlisted Cockades (Reichs and Prussian) mounted on M1894 Posts. Strap is a replacement. A beautiful Piece.
