Prussian Garde du Corps Model 1915 Pickelhaube - RARE

Prussian Guard du Corps Enlisted Man - Model 1915. From a well known US Collection. This piece was purchased over 40 years ago at the old Great Western Show and has never been cleaned or polished. Wartime steel body with field gray trim. The body has excellent form but has surface discoloration and a perforation on left back panel ( see photo). The helmet body has no markings. No extra holes in the helmet body. Metal trim shows age but has not been polished.

Interior has standard EM leather liner that is marked inside “KBAG 1915” for the Guard Division quartermaster Corp. The frontplate is the multi-piece Prussian Guard Star in field gray metal. It is secured to helmet with leather wedges. The spike and base is the standard Kurassier “elliptical “ shape with proper removable spike top. Original leather chinstrap with field gray buckles over M91 side lugs. Original large Kurassier style Reichs and Prussian cockade. This an extremely rare piece. Original and untouched helmet.
