Prussian Pioneer Officers Pickelhaube

Black lacquered leather helmet body in excellent + condition. No lacker loss. Silver trim. The frontplate is the Prussian Line Officers Eagle with silver frosting. Plate is mounted to helmet body with nuts and bolts (no extra holes). Tall silver Officers Spike with Perlring. Spike does unscrew. Round base held by 4 gilt stars.

Green and Red lined front and back visors respectively. Both visors with firm stitching. Little peg holding the end of back visor missing. The inside of the helmet is Near MINT, one minor tear and unswen at some points it has the Brown leather calfskin sweatband with green silk "seidenrips" lining. Flat gilt chinscales held by Silver rosettes over a set of Officers Prussian and Reichs Cockades. A very neat helmet overall.
