Prussian Line Dragoon Enlisted Pickelhaube

Prussian Line Dragoon Enlisted Model 1895. The helmet has never been cleaned or polished. Fine heavy leather helmet body with brass trim. The helmet body in excellent form and firm stitching. The lacquer finish is dull with age and has some deep surface scratches on the left side of the helmet (see photo). Interior has EM style leather tabbed liner that is in excellent condition. The helmet interior visors are plain leather and have no legible markings.

No extra holes in the helmet body. The frontplate is the Prussian Line Dragoon Eagle that is held to the helmet body with leather wedges. Brass crossed spike base with pearl ring at spike base with removable EM spike. Inside the helmet bell is the owners tag stating "Dragoner Kahn 2 Esk...." .Heavy rounded M1895 chinscales on M91 side lugs. Both Prussian and Reichs EM cockades. Nice example of a Prussian Line Dragoon helmet. Needs a little TLC. Bargain priced!!!
