Württemberg 25th Dragoon Reserve Officers Pickelhaube

Wurttemberg 25th Dragoon Regiment (Kings Dragoon Regiment - 1st Wurttemberg)- Reserve Officer Model 1897 with white Yak Hair parade plume. Black lacquered leather helmet body with frosted silver trim and squared front visor. The helmet body has excellent form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is in excellent and retains shiny finish. There are no extra holes in helmet body. The helmet interior has sweat leather and silk headliner. The silk headliner is complete but has tears (see photos). The helmet has a silver crossed spike base with officer pearl/diamond ornamentation at base of spike. Ins tead of spike, there is a smooth silver parade trichter holding a white officers parade plume. Large gold stars retain cross base to helmet. The Frontplate is the silver Wurttemberg Crest with a gilt reserve cross in the center. Original convex rounded gilded chinscales with silver officer rosette. Original officers Reich and Wurttemberg cockades. It remains untouched with the usual silver oxidation. Beautiful and rare reserve regimental parade helmet. Bargain priced.
