Württemberg General Officer Pickelhaube Federbush
Wonderful and rare piece.
Beautiful Federbusch for a Württemberg General Helmet. The Federbush was worn for special occasions or Parade Purposes. This bush is of the "higher/better" quality type with its inside black and red Feathers sawn together "Gestickt" as outlined in the "Marke Garde du Corps" catalog. Outside white feathers are plain and supple. Original Feather Bushes are quite rare to be found in todays market, we would rate it a 7 on a scale of 10.
Furthermore with the Bush comes an original larger size carrying case in cardboard and inside tube (tube privately made). Case is not of the Federbush type, but original and large enough to protect the bush. Trichter is the standard fluted type also worn by Prussian and Bavarian generals. A Rare item to find in todays Market. No Trichter.
