Prussian Guard Infantry Landwehr Officer to Parade (white Yak hair plume) - Model 1897. Black lacquered leather helmet body with fine silver metal trim. The leather helmet body in perfect condition with firm stitching. The exterior lacquer in excellent condition with a bright finish and no lacquer loss. The helmet body has NO extra holes. The helmet interior has standard sweat leather and silk headliner in excellent condition. 

Inner visors colored red and green as is proper for an officer helmet. Round spike base with gold star retainers. The tall silver plume trichter is removable. The excellent conditioned plume is white Yak hair. The frontplate in the Prussian Guard Eagle in frosted silver with the silver star on which is placed a large Prussian Landwehr cross. Flat gilt chinscales on silver rosettes. Original Reichs and Prussian Officer cockades. Absolutely 100% original helmet from an old collection. Excellent overall condition.
