Prussian Jäger zu Pferd Model 1915 Enlisted Pickelhaube

Prussian Jaeger zu Pferde "Lobstertail" Enlisted Mans helmet Model 1915. Massive size 58 helmet. The blued metal helmet is the unique form of the Jaeger zu Pferde Regiments with Field Gray Model 1915 metal trim. The exterior finish is in near perfect condition with no rust (see photos). The metal helmet body has some small "Dings" that can be easily pushed out (see photos). All Field Gray trim. The frontplate is the Prussian Dragoon style eagle that is held to helmet with original leather wedges. The helmet interior a very large non-dyed leather liner that is pieced together (see photo). Liner is in very condition.

Marked inside back of helmet with the mark "58" for size and also marked with makers metal shield. Small paper tag with wearers name attached to screws (see photo). Crossed spike base with removable spike. The spike is a genuine M1915 JzP style. Original but repainted large kurassier style Reich and Prussian cockades. Leather chinstrap over M91 side lugs. Very nice and large sized field gray trimmed JzP regiment. Bargain priced.
