Bavarian NCO/Enlisted Infantry Pickelhaube

Bavarian Infantry Regiment NCO Model 1896. Black lacquered leather helmet body with polished brass trim.  The helmet body has excellent form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is in fine condition. The interior of the helmet has black EM leather liner. Inner visors natural colored leather. No markings identified.  No extra holes in the helmet body.  Front plate is the Bavarian frontplate that is attached to helmet with original leather wedges. The trim including base/spike retains polished sheen. Brass brads at base of helmet. The spike is not removable. Original leather chinstrap. Bavarian and Reichs cockades. This helmet is 100% original and untouched. Nice original helmet that shows genuine use and wear. Great WWI era Bavarian helmet. Bargain priced.
