Bavarian Model 1915 Chevau-Leger Enlisted Pickelhaube

Bavarian field gray trimmed Field Chevauleger EM M1915. Black lacquer leather helmet body with field gray trim. Helmet body has very good form. Exterior lacquer in excellent to near mint condition. Body has no extra holes. Inside the helmet bell is a stamping of maker that is hard to read with a date of 1916 (also hard to read). Interior has EM style leather non-dyed liner in near mint condition.

Both visors firmly stitched with no markings as late issue. Field Gray fittings have nice soft phoshate finish. Field gray fluted removable spike and cross base. Original spike is the pattern that DOES NOT have a pearl ring. Original leather strap on M1891/15 side lugs with EM Reichs and Bavarian cockades. The Front plate is the large Bavarian wappen in grey twith both original loops and leather wedges. 100% original helmet in overall near MINT condition
