Helmet body in "Filz" or Felt. Body is in excellent shape with NO flaws or tears to be seen. Brass trim with a round spike base and smooth spike maintained by 4 brads. Brass Bavarian frontplate that fits over two small holes. One Leather wedge missing. Original black, thin leather lining with what appears to be the original draw string. Lining in in excellent condition overall. Original Leather strap with both period Cockades. A very nice overall helmet in excellent shape and condition.
