Prussian Line Infantry Officer Pickelhaube

Prussian Line Infantry Officer model 1897. This helmet was recently found at a militaria show in the US. Black lacquered leather helmet body with gilded trim. Trim is an absolut perfect match of a high redish gold colour. The helmet body has excellent form and firm stitching. No extra holes in the helmet body. The interior has sweat leather and silk headliner. Interior visors colored read and green.
The frontplate is the Line Prussian heraldic eagle. Round spike base with Officer pearl ring and removable spike. Flat chinscales on rosettes. Officer style Reich and Prussian cockades. 100% original and untouched piece. This helmet has never been cleaned. Fine example of the Prussian Line Officer helmet of WWI.
