Prussian Silver Garde Infantry Enlisted Pickelhaube

Prussian Guard Infantry, Pioneer or Eisenbahn Enlisted style spiked helmet Model 1895. Black lacquered leather helmet body with German silver metal trim. The helmet body has excellent form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is in excellent to near mint shape. No extra holes in the helmet body. The interior of the helmet has a black leather headliner. The leather liner is complete and supple.

The inner visors are plain leather with no legible marks noted. The front plate is a German Silver Prussian Guards Eagle with Guard Star on the eagle's chest. Frontplate held to body with wedge retainers. Enlisted style spike and base with the spike being removable. Spike base held into place with round domed retainers. Leather chinstrap appears to be a later replacement. Reichs and Prussian EM style cockades. This helmet is 100% original and untouched. Outstanding and Classic silver trimmed Prussian Guard helmet.
