Prussian 8th Leib Grenadier - NCO Visor Hat

Prussian 8th Leib Grenadier Regiment (King Friederich Wilhelm III - 1st Brandenburg Regt. - Hdq. Frankfurt a/ Oder) One Year Volunteer Visor hat from circa 1910. From the Rich Ames collection. Beautiful Officer Quality stiff vior cap made of blue cloth with red cap band and piping. Black lacquered front visor. Enlisted style Reich and Prussian cockades. The hat interior is light tan silk liner with maker name “L. Wagner - Frankfurt a/O - Gr. Scharrnstr. 62a” embossed into silk. The soldiers paper tag inside “Freiwilliger Budy - Rekr.-Dep. I U. L. G.R. 8” . Only slight signs of aging and wear. No moth damage noted. Bright colors. Beautiful display piece for an advanced collection. Rare visor hat for the 8th Leib Grenadier Regiment.
