Bavarian Model 1915 Infantry Enlisted Pickelhaube

Bavarian Infantry Regiments Enlisted Man Model 1915. An ”out of the woodwork” find. Fine black lacquered leather body with grey trim. Body overall in excellent form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer excellent with now lacquer loss. No extra holes in the helmet body. Full EM style leather liner in near perfect condition.

The frontplate is the standard Bavarian line frontplate that is held to the helmet body with original leather wedges. Grey Wartime trim with removable M1915 spike top. Base retained by 4 round brads. Original leather chinstrap that shows some damage (see photo). Original Reichs cockade, Bavarian is a later replacement. No markings evident. Great WWI era helmet. Near Mint condition!
