Hessen Dragoon Officer Bandolier

Circa 1900. The bandolier of red morocco leather with applied silver braid with red interwoven threads and the distinctive silver buckle worn exclusively in Dragoon Regiments No. 23 and 24. The lion's head and the oval escutcheon for the cleaning rods are both present - without the cartridge box, the seams of the braid with minor fraying. Overall very nice condition
