A Beautiful Helmet. Wartime Depaheg Patent

Black Lacquered Fiber body in Mint condition with firm stitching to visors. Al fire gilt trim with large cross base maintained by 4 stars. The top of the base has the typical "Artillery" flat finish with a tall gilt "Kugel" that unscrews to adapt a parade plume (tiny ding on the top of ball). The frontplate is the gilt large winged Garde Eagle in Officers quality -that fits the shell like a glove- In its center the star of the "Black Eagle Order" in Silver with enameld center. Extra small holes visble behind plate but undoublfully this plate was made for this helmet (see pictures).

A set of gilt convex chinscales maintained by rosettes over both Reich and Prussian Cockades. Inside back visors lined in red and green. Complete with its calf skin sweat lining (marked to Depaheg Patent) with some minor tears and repairs (see pics) and Silk Ribon liner. Extra Large size "58". 100% original Helmet in an absolute beautiful preservation state.
