A fine example of a field-gray wool M15 officer’s tunic, tailored in the classic concealed front-fly style. This tunic features a bottle-green stand-and-fall collar, turned-back cuffs, and pleated patch breast pockets—period additions consistent with front-line use.

Silver M15-pattern crowned buttons are present on the rear skirt, breast pockets, and shoulder straps. The officer’s boards indicate the rank of Hauptmann (Captain) in Fußartillerie-Regiment Nr. 62, while the collar tabs bear the distinctive Guards Officer litzen, signifying the officer had been seconded from the Garde-Fußartillerie—a prestigious assignment within the Imperial German Army.

The interior shows typical period construction, with depot markings, internal pockets, and size stamps. Overall, this tunic remains in very good condition, with only light service wear. A desirable and display-ready piece, ideal for mounting on a mannequin or torso form.
