Prussian Land Gendarme Enlisted Pickelhaube

*MINT CONDITION HELMET* Prussian Guard Regiment Land Gendarme Regiments - Enlisted Mans helmet Model 1895.  Black lacquered leather helmet with bright brass trim.  This helmet is exactly the same as ones used by the Prussian Guard Dragoon Regiments.  Body style is the standard Dragoon Style with squared front visor trim and crossed spike base.  No extra holes in the helmet body.The Landes Gendarme served as Military Police in wartime.  The frontplate is the Prussian Guard Eagle with Silver Guard star on the Eagle's chest. The frontplate is maintained to the helmet with screws. 

Bright brass cross spike base with pearlring maintained by 4 round/split brads. Smooth spike that is the proper pattern for Dragoons (see picture) that is removable for use of plume for parade. The inside has the original black dyed leather lining that is also in mint condition. Inside the back visor marked with the stamp "B.A.G." for the Guard Quartermaster Corp.  Inside the helmet body is marked by the maker "Wunderlich -Berlin" and 2 stamps for " L.G. and 1913".  Original set of convex chinscales over a set of M91 side lugs. Enlisted style Reichs and Prussian cockades. Absolutely Mint and beautiful Guard Regiment EM.  Very rare to find in this condition.
