Prussian Grenadier Enlisted Pickelhaube "FWR"

Prussian Line Grenadier FWR Pattern Enlisted Model 1895-1911.Beautiful black lacquered leather helmet body with brass trim. The helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is flawless and in near mint condition. The interior of the helmet has Enlisted Style leather liner that is in good but used condition. Inner visors of helmet have no markings. No extra holes in the helmet body. All metal trim has beautiful original golden brass finish.

The front plate is the Prussian Line Eagle with the monogram FWR at the center. The frontplate is held to the helmet by original leather wedges. The spike is removable for use of a black plume for parades. Original leather strap. Reichs and Prussian Enlisted cockades. This helmet is 100% original and untouched. Rare Helmet Model as the FWR eagle was gradually replaced by the wide winged eagle for different regiments from 1905-1911. Fine conditioned helmet that will be impossible to upgrade.
