Austrian Dragoon Enlisted Helmet

Imperial Austrian Dragoon Officers helmet circa 1910. From an old collection. Beautiful thin black enameled helmet body with gilded brass trim. Helmet has good form and near perfect glass like finish to black enamel. High crowned gilded metal top with fancy side panels of a Lion attacking a a serpent. Front plate is the Imperial Austrian Double Headed Eagle with the Habsburg Crest in the center of the Eagle's chest. Fancy Lion headed rosettes over leaf like chinscales. Missing interior liner. Uncleaned and unpolished. Beautiful historical piece. Bargain priced.
