Prussian Silver Garde Officers Pickelhaube

Model 1897 Pickelhaube Prussian Guards Officer for the 3rd and 5th Guard Infantry Regiments of Foot, Guard Fusilier Regiment, Guard Pioneer Battalion and Guard Eisenbahn Regt. Black lacquered leather helmet with silver metal trim. Helmet has good form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer shows no loss. The helmet Interior has sweat leather and silk headliner in excellent overall condition. Red and green lined inner visors. No extra holes in helmet body.

Round spike base with tall removable spike and 4 gilt stars at the spike base. Front plate is the large winged Prussian Guard Eagle with in its center the Silver Star of the black eagle Order (enameled) and the "SUMM CUIQUE" motto. Front plate left deep marks in leather as can be seen in pictures. Original Reichs and Prussian Officer cockades. Flat gold chinscales and silver rosettes. A beautiful helmet. Absolutely 100% original.
