Saxon Infantry EingentumsHelm for an NCO

Saxon Infantry Regiment Model 1895. Black lacquered leather helmet body with beautiful fire gilt trim. Helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is flawless in near mint condition. Interior of helmet has brown sweat leather and brown silk headliner complete in absolute MINT condition. Size 56. Inner visors of Officers grade but not lined in green or red.

No extra holes in helmet body. Front plate is the Saxon fire gilt star and silver center device (one retaining screw missing). The trim including base/spike retains its fire gilting. Gold brads at base of helmet. The spike is removable. Beautiful and original NCO type leather strap (seems a bit of center, but also stuck to helmet body forever, we did Not try to remove it or center it). Special non-seratted Saxon and Reichs Enlisted/NCO cockades. This helmet is 100% original and untouched. Great WWI era Saxon NCO/Officers helmet difficult to upgrade.
