Beautiful Black lacquered leather body that remains flawless with no lacquer loss whatsoever. 100% Original finish to the complete helmet, including; the Bavarian Frontplate with "in Treue Fest" bandeau that is held to the shell with two screws/nuts (no extra holes), the round spike base with smooth spike that does not untwists and 4 split brads.

Round front visor with green underlining and red lining to back visor. both visor with firm stitching. Brass back spine.The Helmet has a set of gilt flat chinscales mounted over M91 posts. A set of Bavarian and Reich Cockades complete the ensemble. The Inside sweat lining is of officers grade with and beige silk has only minor wear marks to it. A near mint helmet. One of the nicest ever seen.
