Prussian Jäger Officers Shako - Mint

Prussian Line Jaeger Battalions Officer Shako post 1897. Officer quality black felt covered leather shako with finely gilded metal trim. The helmet body is in MINT condition with perfect form and firm stitching. There are an extra set of holes right next to the holes used for retaining the plate to the helmet body (see photo).  They do not appear to have been used.

The cloth portion of the shako is in perfect condition with no moth damage or tears. Interior has officer style sweat leather with special ribbon around the leather edging and silk headliner. The liner is in excellent condition. The frontplate is the small sized Prussian Line Eagle in beautiful fire gilt. Flat chinscales on rosettes. Single Officer style Reichs cockade. Fine officer silver bullion with black center. Absolutely Mint Jaeger Shako that is 100% all original and untouched.
