Prussian Line Dragoon Regiments 7, 8,11, 13 and 14 - Reserve Officer - Model 1897. From a prestigious US collection. Fine leather helmet body with squared front visor and gold metal trim. Black lacquered leather helmet body with fine exterior lacquer and firm stitching. No extra holes in helmet body BUT holes are slightly widened due to the change from Active duty to Reserve.

Helmet interior has fine sweat leather and silk headliner. The frontplate is the gold Line Prussian Dragoon Eagle without banner and a silver Reserve Cross on the eagle's chest. The helmet has a gold crossed spike base with officer pearl/diamond ornamentation at base of spike. Smooth removable spike. Large gold stars retain cross base to helmet. Original convex rounded gold chinscales and officer rosettes. Original officers Reich and Prussian officer cockades. Nice Reserve Dragoon Regiment.
