Near Mint - Matching Colors
Beautiful black lacquered leather body with grey trim. Body overall in very nice condition and perfect shape. Grey Wartime trim with removable M1915 spike top. Base retained by 4 round brads. Nice Prussian eagle plate that is held to helmet with the two original leather wedges. Plate is exceptionaly well preserved and fits the helmet shell like a glove. No shrinkage.
A set of original Prussian and Reichs Cockades under a M91 side lugs. Original leather strap. Inside Liner is the Black dyed type (earlier war) in mint condition still supple with the original leather string. Maker marked by "Maury & Co. Mainz". One of the most common Pickelhaube of the Imperial era...however in exceptional overall condition!
