Prussian Veterinary Medical Doctor — Regular Officer Rank- Model 1897 until 1908. After that time the Veterinary Medical Personnel were part of the Beamte (Administrative Ranks of the German Army) and wore a small silver eagle on the tail of the larger eagle. Dragoon style helmet body with squared front visor trim and crossed spike base. Helmet exterior lacquer has glossy finish. No extra holes in the helmet body. The interior of the helmet has fine leather sweat leather and silk headliner. The interior seems never to have been worn. The frontplate is the Prussian line Eagle without banner. The frontplate does not have the Beamte Eagle on the tail. Crossed spike base with star retainers. Rounded gilded chinscales on rosettes. Officer style Reichs and Prussian cockades. This is a perfect helmet that is immaculate condition. You will not be able to upgrade this helmet.
