Prussian Kürassier Model 1915 Enlisted "Lobstertail" Pickelhaube

Prussian Field Gray Kurassier EM Model 1915. Stamped steel “Lobstertail” helmet made in the style of the earlier Kurassier helmet but this one used all field gray trim. The M1915 helmet body is in excellent shape. Some minopr dents or scratches (please see pictures). The additional trim is field gray in color with the exception of the frontplate. The frontplate is steel field gray stamped but had a silver wash to change the look of the helmet.

We feel is evidence that this helmet was issued to the 6th Kurassier Regiment although the helmet body has no regimental markings. Marked in top with maker stamp. Complete with undyed leather liner. Old reproduction leather chinstrap and Original large sized kurassier style cockades. Unusual large size, marked on back trim “60,5". 100% Original helmet. Classic and beautiful WWI helmet.
