Prussian Guard Jaeger NCO shako Model 1897. Private purchase type of shako. Black leather Shako body with officer style metal trim. The leather body has perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior finish is almost mirror finish. No extra holes. The Prussian Officer style multi-piece Guard Star frontplate Stamped silver star with high profile center that includes enamel (see photo). Officer style sweat leather liner with missing silk headliner. Original flat gold chinscales with NCO Reichs cockade. Original Prussian ribbed cloth field badge. Rare NCO shako that is in beautiful condition.
