Bavarian Felt Ersatz Wartime Pickelhaube

Helmet body in "Filz" or Felt. Body is in excellent shape with NO flaws or tears to be seen. Brass trim with a round spike base and smooth spike maintained by 4 brads. Brass Bavarian frontplate that fits over two small grometed holes. No extra holes. Original Leather wedges.

Unique tin metal band inside base of the helmet shell (see pictures) a manufacturers signature. Original black, thin leather lining with its leather draw string. Lining in in excellent condition overall with one small tear missing (see pictures). Original Leather strap with both period Cockades. A very nice overall helmet in excellent shape and condition.
