Württemberg Reserve Infantry Officer's Pickelhaube
Uncleaned as found

Black lacquered fiber helmet body in excellent to mint shape and condition/form with absolutely no crazing. Red and green visors with firm stitching. Gilt trim that has been left uncleaned as found. Cross base maintained by four stars (one is a wartime replacement) with tall spike that untwists. Officer style back spine. The Inside of the helmet is full officers with the Calf skin lining and silk liner in excellent to mint condition. No tears.
The Frontplate is the Wurttemberg coat of arms -"Fire Gilt" - with the "Furschtlos und Trew" banner. Lion with pierced crown. In its center the silver reserve cross. No extra holes. Flat gold chinscales retained by officers rosettes over a set of Wurttemberg and Reich colored Officers Cockades. A beautiful helmet that would clean up easily if needed. We left it untouched with original patina.
