Prussian Stamped Metal Ersatz Pickelhaube

Prussian Stamped Metal Ersatz helmet circa 1914. Excellent all original helmet. Metal helmet body is black enameled with brass trim. Stamped metal body is in excellent shape with 2 small dents that can be seen. Brass trim with a round spike base and smooth spike maintained by center crimping to body. There are 4 faux brad heads in spike base. Brass Prussian frontplate that fits over a central hole in body. Original undyed thin leather lining. Underneath leather liner is the original ersatz cloth head cushion. Lining and pad in excellent condition. Original Leather strap with both period Cockades. Rare metal ersatz type. Beautiful and all original helmet. Wonderful WWI era helmet.
