Prussian Line Dragoon Officer Pickelhaube

Black lacquered leather helmet body in excellent shape with no crazing. Body remains in perfect form with firm stitching to visors. All metal trim is fire gilt with the "Dragoon Style" Officers eagle at about 85% original fire gilt remaining. Eagle has the Vaterland bandeau "Mit Gott fùr Koenig und Vaterland". No extra holes in helmet body as the plate fits the helmet perfectly.

The spike fits over the standard cross base retained by 4 gilt stars. Base of the spike has the Officers Perlring, and the spike untwists to adapt a black haarbush for parade purposes. Convex gilt chinscales maintained by rosettes over a set of Officers Reich and State Cockades. Square front visor with faded green lining. Red lining under the back visor.

The inside of the helmet is of full officers grade with calfskin and beige silk "Seidenrips". Basically no damage just a bit dirty from ware. A Rare Cavalry helmet seldomly found in todays market. Un-messed/Untouched/un-cleaned. 100% original
