Prussian Infantry Officers Pickelhaube

Prussian Infantry Officer for Line Regiments Model 1897. NEAR MINT condition. Beautiful black lacquered helmet body with fine fire gilded trim. Helmet body has perfect form and firm stitching. Exterior lacquer is in mint condition without crazing or flaws. Frontplate is the Prussian Line Regiments eagle in fine gold, a set of pre-punched holes is visible behind the frontplate, however, this plate has been on this shell forever by its fits and marks. Plate is fixed with two split prongs.

Officer style spike and base with screw retainers. Interior sweat leather with white/beige silk headliner. Sweat leather has fancy silk ribbon woven through the leather "Extra Qualität" type. Liner appears unworn. Flat Officer chinscales on rosettes. Officer style 2- piece Reich and Prussian cockades. Amazing helmet in near mint condition. This one will be hard to upgrade.
